We manufacture and sell kitchenware, hydration, and everyday products for all types of retailers — from national chains all over the world to independent shops throughout the US. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a talented Senior Product Development Manager- Stationery to join our team.

The Details
- Lead the Product Development team to brainstorm and develop new stationery concepts (e.g., notebooks, planners, journals, writing tools, desk accessories) that drive sales.
- Track project timelines and ensure progress across multiple stationery development initiatives.
- Manage products from concept to completion, including trend research, paper/material sourcing, prototyping, testing (e.g., paper weight, ink compatibility), and sustainable production methods.
- Conduct trend research focused on stationery, organization tools, paper goods, and desk aesthetics, both online and in retail environments.
- Handle data entry and product setup, including style creation and New Item Set-Up Forms for stationery SKUs.
- Provide weekly updates to management on project progress, sample status, and key milestones across multiple product lines.
- Assist with the sample review and approval process, including evaluating paper quality, binding, print finishes, packaging, and usability; provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain organized tracking systems for incoming/outgoing samples (e.g., notebooks, planners, pen sets) and their development stages.
- Communicate daily with overseas manufacturers regarding materials (paper types, covers, inks), printing techniques, and production timelines.
- Manage product details including costing, timelines, MOQs, and production specifications.
- Coordinate early supplier involvement for materials, components, and innovative stationery features (e.g., binding methods, closures, specialty finishes).
- Support development of packaging and presentation that enhances the stationery product experience while aligning with brand standards.
- Create and maintain accurate costing sheets, including product cost, freight, tariffs, and duties.
- Develop and update buyer-facing presentations highlighting stationery collections and key selling features.
- Review packaging, instructions, and labeling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and brand alignment.
- Travel as needed (domestic and international) to support product development and supplier relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Product Development, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field preferred).
- 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to stationery, paper goods, or consumer products.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong creative eye with an understanding of layout, typography, color, and materials in stationery.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment.
