Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive claims and invoice research specialist to manage and resolve the US and Canada shortage, pricing, and freight claims. This role also involves researching invoice payment statuses and leveraging internal tools to ensure timely and accurate resolution. A strong understanding of Retail Link and Excel is essential, with additional knowledge of supply chain, replenishment, and Access considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
•Investigate and dispute shortage, pricing, and freight claims for US and Canadian operations.
•Research and track invoice payment statuses, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
•Utilize Walmart’s Retail Link platform to gather data, analyze trends, and resolve issues.
•Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to support claim resolution.
•Maintain organized documentation and audit trails of claim resolutions and payment research.
•Analyze recurring claim trends to identify process improvements and minimize future disputes.
•Use Excel for data tracking, analysis, and reporting.
Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in claims management, accounts receivable, or a related field.
•Proficient in Retail Link and Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external partners.
•Experience or knowledge in supply chain and replenishment is a plus.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Access is an asset.
